The word “copy” was first used as a word for the “text of an advertisement” in 1905. The actual word copy comes from the 1300s Latin, meaning an abundance of writing. With the printing press, this abundance of writing turned into words that would be printed in a newspaper article or advertisement. The word slowly became associated with advertising, and the word "copywriter" was first used in 1911. 

 But why the word "copy"?

As a website copywriter, I’m more than a writer. I’ll ask the right questions and combined with the right research so you can tell your story naturally on the web, in sales, and beyond.

I set up my Fiverr profile and, within a couple of weeks, became a Fiverr rising star, garnering reviews and repeat customers. Within six months, I became Fiverr Pro certified, a hand-picked designation reserved for the top professional talent on Fiverr.

I delved into the science of copywriting, psychology, and marketing and found that my academic soul loved it. I worked to hone my skills with copywriting programs and conferences (hey there Copyhackers, Alex Cattoni's Launch Files, and Ad World). The best learning, though, has been through the 100 business owners I’ve worked with over the years.

I’ve been writing and studying how people communicate since I was a little girl. Yet I didn’t know what copywriting was until a few years ago.

Like many creatives, I was told writing was a hobby, and I should find a different job. It took me years to discover this couldn't be farther from the truth...



While I’m grateful to Fiverr for starting my career in copywriting, I now mainly work with clients off of freelance platforms (like you!). This gives me greater control over your client experience and ensures you get copywriting that suits your brand perfectly.

I’ve learned so much about healthcare, education, travel, food, tech, and more through my work. And I’m excited to discover more as I get to know you and your brand! 

After putting my writing dreams on hold, I lived in France as a teacher’s aide, studied Speech Pathology at university, went to German language school, worked as a research consultant, and taught English As A Second Language. 

I found copywriting in April 2021 through Alex Fasulo's Instagram. With my master degree plans in shambles and the world still in lockdown, I knew I had to try it. She said that she wrote on Fiverr, a freelance platform, and millions of businesses needed help telling their stories.
